Groovefunnels works by first offering the user a free plan and then offering paid upgrades which will make more features available.

The goal of the free plan is to catch the user’s attention and make them sign up for the software. This is a very clever marketing tactic because it can show the user how great the platform is. It’s also a great opportunity for those who want to start an online business but don’t have a budget to pay for tools. So, the free plan is a win-win relationship.

As the business starts to grow, the need to have additional features and to expand the capacity of the features available in the free plan will appear. In this way, the user will naturally upgrade to the paid plans. This is great for Groovefunnels because they get a paying customer, and it’s also great for you because you don’t need to spend money upfront, before having a profitable business.

Groovefunnels FREE Plan

Groovefunnels gives you access to a lifetime free plan. The only important thing that isn’t very clear when you’re signing up is that for your first 30 days you get a lot of additional features as bonuses. After these 30 days, you can keep your free plan, but you’ll get some restrictions.

You’ll not have unlimited domains anymore. This isn’t a problem for most people, as you’ll need to build just one website for your business.

You’ll still be able to sell unlimited products and services and build unlimited eCommerce stores, but you’ll need to pay a 5% transaction fee. 

The website and email templates, integrations, import pages, and share funnels are also restricted after 30 days.

The 2500 emails sends and 500 contacts remain the same. For people who are just getting started, these numbers will be enough. But when you start growing your business or if you already have an email list, you’ll need to upgrade your plan.

I don’t know any other software company that offers the same features as Groovefunnels Lifetime free plan. 

The free plan is enough to help you get your business off the ground, but when you start to grow, you’ll need to upgrade.

When you click to upgrade your offer, you’ll be presented with a discount that according to them is valid for just around one hour. But it’s just a fake scarcity tactic. I went to the page to upgrade my plans several different times on a lot of random days and still got the offer of a discount.

Groovefunnels Start Up Plan – $39.99/mo billed annually or $99 a month billed monthly

In this plan, you still are limited to 500 contacts and 2500 emails sends per month. The main difference is that you get more options when it comes to some features.

Now you can create unlimited websites and unlimited pages. You also get access to their template library in which you have a lot of different templates to choose from.

When it comes to membership sites you create 3 instead of one. You also unlock the automated webinar feature.

This plan also allows you to make integrations, import leads, export data, and share site URLs.

When you choose to pay annually, you save $780.12

Groovefunnels Creator Plan – $83/mo billed annually or $149/mo billed monthly

The main difference here is that in this plan you get 5,000 contacts and 50,000 emails sends per month. You can also host 50 videos and the store fees are waived.

When you choose to pay annually, you save $792

Groovefunnels Pro Plan – $124.25/mo billed annually or $199/mo billed monthly

The main difference here is that in this plan you get 30,000 contacts and unlimited email sends per month. You can also run 20 automated webinars.

When you choose to pay annually, you save $897

Groovefunnels Premium Plan – $166/mo billed annually or $299/mo billed monthly

The main difference here is that in this plan you get 50,000 contacts and unlimited email sends per month. You can also run unlimited automated webinars.

When you choose to pay annually, you save $1596.

Groovefunnels Premium+ Lifetime Plan – $2997 paid in full or $997 billed four times

The main difference here is that in this plan you can have unlimited contacts. If you have a Groovefunnels premium plan paid monthly, after one year you’ll end up paying $3588 which is $591 more expensive than the lifetime plan. In the first year you’ll end up paying $591 more, and in the subsequent years, you’ll pay $3588 more.

For those who have already an established business that depends on Groovefunnels features for operation, the lifetime plan is a great choice.

Yes, Groovefunnels gives you a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unhappy with their services for any reason, you can ask for your money back within 30 days of your purchase. Although it’s very unlikely that you’ll want a refund if you use the free plan, like it, and decide to upgrade.

Is Groovefunnels really free?

Yes, Groovefunnels free plan is 100% free for life. Just keep in mind that when you first opt-in to the software, you’ll get some additional features for 30 days, as a bonus. After these 30 days, your plan will be downgraded to the normal free plan. 

There’s nothing wrong with that, Groovefunnels free plan is still great. It’s just something to keep in mind.

Is There Still a Groovefunnels Lifetime Deal?

Yes, Groovefunnels still has a lifetime deal. When you first sign up for the software you’ll be pitched a lifetime deal as a one-time offer. From what I can see, this is just a scarcity tactic designed to make you buy. Whenever I tried to upgrade my account, I got access to the lifetime offer again.

I don’t know if it will be this way forever. Maybe they will change in the future and stop offering the lifetime deal. I can’t tell. 

What is the difference between free and paid plans?

The main difference between the free and paid plans is the number of contacts you have on your email list, the number of emails you can send per month, and the number of pages and templates you get access to. In the free plan, you also need to pay transaction fees for every sale you make.

If you are interested in any of the features I showed you in this review, you should sign up for the free plan. The plan is 100% and it doesn’t require a credit card, so you have nothing to lose.

Is Groovefunnels Better Than Clickfunnels?

It will depend on the specific feature. Groovefunnels is better in some features and Clickfunnels in others.

Overall, Clickfunnels is better when it comes to landing pages, and the pages that are part of your sales funnel. Groovefunnel’s advantage comes down to all the additional features they offer.
