Stefan has distilled his 10+ years of experience in an easy-to-understand step-by-step process. The promise is that with the instructions of the course you’ll be able to create your own 7 figure online business.

The course is focused on building your brand and developing your online presence across multiple platforms. The method can take a lot of time to start producing results, but after the ball is rolling, you have a high chance of achieving great success. The course includes training on a lot of different topics such as: finding your niche, blogging, YouTube marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Email Marketing.

The course is composed of 7 modules which I’m going to detail in the sections below.

Module 1 – Introduction, Strategy & Mindset

This module is a general overview of the course. Stefan talks about how affiliate marketing is his favorite way to make money because it requires no products or services. 

I think he is right, affiliate marketing is the best business model for beginners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Your only job is to drive traffic to an offer. You don’t need to provide the service, make sales calls, or provide customer service.

If done properly, affiliate marketing is a reliable source of passive income.

During the mindset section, Stefan talks about how affiliate marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme, and that it will take time and dedication. He also talks about setting goals and developing your brand.

Module 2 – Market Research & Keywords

The first step of the process is choosing your niche. Every online training course will have a module dedicated to this. Some of the most popular niches are:

In this module, you’ll learn how to find niches and markets that have a sizable audience while not being saturated.

Module 3 – Creating Your Online Brand and Presence

Once you have your niche, you’ll learn how to build your brand. Stefan will teach you how to create and optimize social media accounts across the web. These are the top social platforms to build your brand: Facebook, YouTube, WordPress blog, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

It’s important to choose a platform that you like and fits your personality as you’ll be posting content often to grow your following. Particularly, I am not much of a fan of Social Media, I prefer blogging, it’s easy for me.

Keep in mind that your business will be your new job. If you’re doing something you don’t like, it will not be sustainable in the long run.

Module 4 – Content Creation

After setting up your blog and channels, the next step is to start attracting followers and subscribers. Your strategy to attract followers is what every successful internet marketer does, you’ll create content that your audience wants to see.

You’ll learn how to create content, how to get visitors through blog articles, and how to get followers for your YouTube channel and other social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Stefan will give you advice such as “make content people would find interesting” and “follow other people in the industry”. The advice helps, but the truth is that you’ll only learn to create content by doing it.

Module 5 – Visitors, Followers & Building Your List

This is one of the most important modules. If not, the most important one. Stefan will teach you how to get visitors fast with clickbait and PPC (pay-per-click advertising).

Clickbait is basically how to optimize your titles so that people will be compelled to click on them. This will help you get followers fast. But very importantly, your content should match the promise in the title. Don’t trick people to get views, this will burn the trust you have with your audience.

With organic methods such as blogging and YouTube, the results will come slowly. With PPC you’ll get results fast, but you do need to invest money. PPC can be a quick way to get followers.

Module 6 – Earning Revenue & Monetizing Your Traffic

Now it’s time to start making money. You’ll learn how to put affiliate links in your YouTube videos or any other content source you have chosen in the previous modules. The main idea is to help people with your content and offer them a product or service that helps them to solve their problems.

You promote an affiliate link and if your subscribers click and buy it, you make money. Stefan is very methodical in this module and will teach you all the “dos” and “don’ts” 

Module 7 – Performance Analytics

Tracking and optimizing is a very important aspects of any business. Basically, you need to know how you are doing it, to see how you can improve it.

You’ll learn how to set up analytic tracking, how to read the data, and how to use this data to optimize your content. Stefan will also teach you some advanced strategies such as split-testing your content to achieve even more success.

The content in this module is extremely useful for anyone who has an audience online. By optimizing your system you’ll get better click-through rates, increase conversions and get more subscribers. All these metrics are directly related to how much money you make.

No, Affiliate Marketing Mastery is definitely not a scam. It’s a genuine course with tons of good content. Stefan James has a legitimate method that is clearly working for him. He is a well-known entrepreneur who made millions of dollars with the strategies taught in the course.

Stefan was also mentioned in trustworthy magazines such as entrepreneur.com. They have an article about him called: This Entrepreneur Used To Be the Shyest Kid in School. Now He Makes Millions Teaching Self Mastery. 

Are Stefan’s Students Getting Results?

During my research, I couldn’t find many students who are getting good results. I could see a lot of good testimonials, and reports of people starting to get their first traffic and making their first commissions and making. In most of the reports, they are not even close to earning a job replacing income.

I could also find some complaints about the Facebook groups. According to some users’ reviews, Stefan isn’t active in the group, and the group seems dead at this point. 

Playing the Devil’s advocate, these results are not Stefan’s fault, and part of them can be attributed to the nature of Stefan’s method. The method is legit and it has worked wonders for Stefan. But the method is very difficult, takes a lot of time, and not most people have the patience to work a year without seeing results. My guess is that a considerable amount of students start to work on their businesses but give up after some time, because of the lack of results.

Stefan James has genuinely helped a lot of people through his “Project Life Mastery” channel. He posts videos that help people with all their spheres of life, such as relationships, personal development, business, and finance.

All of their videos have a very high quality and the information is very good. He shares good information related to business and to personal development as well. Personally, I love to consume self-improvement content and I find value in most of Stefan’s videos.

Few content creators have inspired so many people like Stefan James. Here are the type of comments you can see on his videos.

2 – Good Introduction to Digital Marketing

Affiliate Marketing Mastery covers a lot of different topics related to digital marketing. So, you not only will learn how to do affiliate marketing but you can apply the information you’re learning to grow any type of business online.

With this course, you’ll learn how to build an audience online to recommend affiliate products. But once you have the audience, the sky’s the limit, you can sell courses, coaching, consulting, and a hundred other things.

3 – 30 Day Money Back Guarantee

The course comes with a genuine 30-day money-back guarantee. This is great because if you make a purchase and don’t like it for any reason, you can ask for your money back within 30 days. From what I can see, people aren’t having problems getting their money back.

4 – The Method Works

Stefan walks what he talks about, and the methods he is teaching you are the same methods that he used to build a small empire online. It’s clearly working for him. If you take action on everything you learn and have patience, you’ll end up in the promised land.

The key thing to keep in mind is that you need a lot of patience, and I really mean A LOT.

What I Don’t Like About Affiliate Marketing Mastery

In this section, I’m going to highlight the main negative points about Stefan James and Affiliate Marketing Mastery.

1 – Underwhelming Testimonials

At the time of this review, Affiliate Marketing Mastery has 2,000 members and it’s very difficult to find impressive testimonials. There’s one or another student who makes a lot of money. But they are the very exception. It seems that most people who take the course are not able to make money.

In the free masterclass, Stefan will show you a lot of testimonials during the presentation. If you take a closer look at it, the testimonials that he shows are average at best. 

2 – Questionable Marketing

Stefan James uses questionable marketing techniques to sell the course. One of them is saying that “Affiliate marketing is the easiest and simplest way to make money online”.

Although I believe that affiliate marketing is a great business model for beginners, as your only job is to drive traffic to the offer, this affirmation is very misleading. It’s very likely that in the beginning, you’ll need to work more than in your 9-5 job. To come to a level where you can achieve a job replacing income takes a lot of time and effort.

3 – Overpriced Training

The training you get is a very broad introduction to digital marketing. You’ll learn how to build a brand and your online presence, but the information you get doesn’t justify the price. You can buy better and less expensive courses for the same amount of money.

4 – Lacks SEO Training

In the training, Stefan advises you to build a Youtube channel or a blog. If you don’t want to put your face on camera to build a presence on Youtube, building a blog is a great alternative. But you’ll not learn much from Affiliate Marketing Mastery when it comes to growing a blog.

You’ll get some basic information that will help you get started, but it’s lacking a lot of important elements. If you want to start a blog, I recommend that you take a look at courses that focus on building a blog. 

Is Affiliate Marketing Mastery Worth The Money?

Affiliate marketing mastery isn’t a bad course. But it isn’t great either. And if I’m paying almost $1000 for a course, I’d expect it to be great.

I don’t think that the course is worth $997. You’d be better off choosing another course that goes more in-depth about the topic. At the end of this review, I’m going to show you some options I think it’s better.

The verdict: Should You Buy Affiliate Marketing Mastery?

I don’t recommend it. But if you are a big fan of Stefan and want to learn affiliate marketing FROM HIM, then it MIGHT be worth it. Otherwise, it will make more sense to buy another course.

If you choose to buy it, you’ll need to keep in mind that it will take time, patience, and perseverance. If you don’t give up in the middle of the process you have a good chance of achieving results. 

After you build your audience, you can also go beyond affiliate marketing. You can sell your own digital courses, coaching, and consulting for example. I already said, but it’s worth emphasizing it: you need a lot of patience and you do need to be okay with the fact that it will take time.

This course is for anyone who wants to build an affiliate marketing business. You’ll learn to build an audience and monetize that audience. The course offers a great general view of the digital marketing world and is heavily focused on branding, which comes with advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage I’d say is that after you have your audience, you are set. You can monetize with affiliate marketing, sell your own courses, sell coaching services…

The disadvantage is that you’ll need at least a year to start seeing some results. If you have patience and are looking to build a long-term business, it’s a good option for you. You can take the course and then see if it’s right for you, and if you don’t like it, you can ask for a refund in 30 days.

This course is not a get-rich-quick scheme and will not give you quick results. If you don’t have the time, or patience and are not willing to work for some time without seeing results, I recommend that you stay away from this course.
